MINIMALISM ::: CULOTTES & VEST

I knew it wasn’t going to be too long before I shared another way to style this vest. It is too good to put away just yet. Unlike the last time as seen here, I choose to dress it down today with some culottes & sandals.

Mears says “clean lines and functionality have always been hallmarks of American style”. Not just American style but style in general in my humble opinion.

For today’s look, I decided on a minimal pairing with clean lines and functionality like Mears described.  I paired my long line vest with Culottes and camisole. To finish the look, I clashed on patterns by pairing my black and white stripe sandals with Zebra print purse. Even though the entire look is black and white, I have enough details to spice up the look.

For days when you do not want to wear denim on Fridays or for days when you want to feel laid back, relaxed but still look chic, this is an option to explore.

Fashion TIP today ::: Pop of Colour

Like I always say, if you are a black and white lover like myself, an addition of colour to your look is an option you can try.  Wear bold red lips or coloured purse or shoes. Just add enough accent to your look to suit your taste.

As you can see in the picture above, that is a pop of colour on the black and white sandals.

A minimal look is sleek and chic and would never be dated. Have fun pairing yours.

The other time I wore the vest, it was an all white ensemble I did as soon as Spring sprung.
