MIXING TEXTURES | SILK TUNIC & LEATHER

Silk : romantic, fluid and delicate.

Leather : tough, rugged and boyish or masculine.

I love the romantic feel of silk and the toughness of leather so I thought to mix both of them together in today’s look.

This kind of mixture wouldn’t be every body’s cup of tea but once in a while I like to feel like a biker/rock star chic. Do you feel that way sometimes; to wear something different from your usual?

My pictures today also has some kind of edginess just to blend the outfit with the image…..#forthefunofit.

Spotting an all black ensemble today, I paired a silk tunic with a light weight leggings and to add that toughness to a look that is subtle, I threw on my leather jacket. I wore it loosely on the shoulder for a dress down appeal. I finished my look with a long silver necklace and ankle open toe booties.

Fashion TIP today ::: Can Leggings be worn as trousers or Pants ? 

One of the reasons why I love blogging fashion is that I can answer all your questions practically. What I mean by that is that I can style a look to answer your questions.

Back to the question !  I say yes, it is okay to wear legging as trousers.  In my humble opinion, I think it is best to wear a blouse that covers the bum like I did here.

Leggings are very comfy and easy to wear for a casual day or for running errands with trainers. They are also perfect with a baggy blouse for when you are at home “chilaxing”.

As always, I would say do whatever you want with your look. Be happy with what you wear, that is all that matters.

Passion is a solid driving force behind success. It is the only thing that can keep you going even if you seem not to be getting the results you want.

While making money is very good, what do you then do when money isn’t forth coming yet?

It is that true passion you have that won’t make you give up. It is your passion that will encourage and drive you instinctively until you begin to get good results.

Don’t forget also that success is relative. Success is a journey and not a destination. When you arrive at a destination, you stop moving. With success, it is different, the moment you get to the destination you think you should, the more you should continue to move to enable you arrive at your full potential. Keep moving, don’t stop until the day you die so you can die empty.

PS : NO, I am not praying for you or anyone to die, I am encouraging you to use all the potential you have inside of you. You are born for greatness and you will succeed, amen.
