Before I tell you anything about today’s topic, I would like to encourage you that for you to create the life you want, you can not afford to be scared or afraid. Anyone who wants to create the life they want must be bold and go for what they want irrespective of what anyone says or thinks or the not so favourable circumstance you may have around you. To create the life you want, you must be bold, confident, prayerful BUT courteous and carry yourself with grace and poise putting your best foot forward.
I didn’t share on any of my social media that I was going to “Africa” – Nigeria. However, I shared with the ladies in our private Facebook group that I was going and invited them to come and meet with me if they had the time. A few turned up and I shared that image on my personal Facebook page and to my greatest surprise, many people wanted to “meet with me”, “host me” and “take me to launch”…..
One of the invites I got while I was in Nigeria was from the Special Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Ndakpoto who graciously hosted me at the ministry of foreign affairs, Abuja. It was one of the experience I will forever cherish. Unknown to me, Mr Ndakpoto says, “he reads my motivation blogs every Monday and that he looks forward to them”. Sincerely, I do not know how I became friends with him on Facebook but I found out that he is been friends with me for a long-long time.
You see, you never can tell who you are inspiring. With the little things you do, you may be inspiring so many people BUT you may not know it until people start saying, “how you influence them” or “impact” their lives. Amazingly, the others who meet up also gave me great compliments of how I influence them with my contents and work.
My friends, I have no doubt that with what I do I will go places. I am not in a hurry to achieve everything I want to achieve BUT I do know that I will achieve them. I also like to add that, nobody can rush the process to greatness. We all must learn to take it easy.
My message to you hasn’t changed, it is always: please don’t waste your time and gifts. Use them to fulfil your potential in life. Be diligent, be hardworking, be prayerful, be hopeful and have faith. Guess what God’s promise is, it says, “your gifts will make room for you and bring you before great men”. I believe it and I have experienced it numerous times. I want to encourage you to dare to dream, believe and to do the right things to create the life you want.

Outfit of the Day!
So my visit to the ministry of foreign affairs was on a Friday and so I decided to wear a laid back look because it was casual Friday. For my look, I wore this blush maxi dress I first wore here.
This time, I wore the dress with a 3-layered blush pearl necklace with gold accent and matching earrings. And to finish my look, I wore a pair of flats (handy for the places I had to visit) and finished my look with my brown speedy 35. PS: look out for my Nigerian Haul video where I shared some Nigerian luxury brands I checked out.
The look was perfect for all the places I was introduced to like the House of Representatives, The Senate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs + casually meeting the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Min. Geoffrey Onyeama. I also went to launch in the dress, after which I returned to Lagos to travel back to Ireland the next day. I am grateful for this opportunity. I also talked about and presented my book – Use What You Have.
At the ground floor of the ministry of foreign affairs..

I want to encourage you once again, if there is anything you want in life, you must be willing to do whatever it takes, pay the price to achieve them. If opportunities don’t come, learn to create them. The way you create them is by being faithful in doing the little that you know how to do. The right people will find you and would favour you. Keep working, keep preparing and keep living in your own purpose. I will do the same.
In Nigeria, I also…

Sounds like you had major fun visiting our country. You are such an inspiration and a perfect example of why one needs to remain humble and be themselves rather than everyone else.
“…nobody can rush the process to greatness…” I like that and what an affirmation.
