You may have noticed if you read the blog that I do my best to share some motivation with you. Today in my Palazzo pants, I am doing just that again. I only write Motivation on Mondays to encourage someone out there who think they can never be anything or do anything successfully or they are not good enough or unemployed or broke or afraid to go afraid their dreams…..etc.
I do that because when we are in a public place like this; a blog, we have the power to change the live or orientation of at least one person and also there is this part of me that can’t stop motivating and encouraging people. I don’t know if it is the mummy in me or if it is a part of my gift or calling? I will settle for the latter and go with my guts that it is part of my calling/gift. And because I do not like any of my gifts to go to waste, I will keep using it. I encourage you not to let any of your gifts go to waste too, use them and use them to the fullest. Not sure what I mean, keep reading……..
First, let me take a selfie, sorry outfit of the day 🙂
Outfit of the Day!
As you can see from the title, I am all dolled up in green from top to the bottom just because I can. For my look today, I paired my palazzo pants with a sequin jumper which I tied on the side to create balance and an illusion of jumpsuit and I finished the look with a bright orange heels to add a pop of colour. For some reason, I have been wearing this heels a lot, they are just so comfy.
Fashion TIP today ::: Why I tied the Jumper?
When it comes to jumpers, you can’t do so much with them other than wear them on their own or layer on or under a shirt; those are enough things to do with jumpers right. Yes they are but for someone who likes to maximise and be creative in styling, here is another thing to do with your jumper.
For this one, I got an oversized one and tied it up on the side to create a “jumpsuitisk” look and also so I don’t loose my frame with baggy on baggy. Tired of your jumpers, do something fun like this.
Right here on the blog, I have been sharing some travel TIPS because this is the season people travel a lot. For how to pack your luggage when you travel, please check HERE and for how to travel in comfort and style, please check HERE
Motivation for Monday ::: Put Your Mind to it and Do it
When I hear some success stories, I go wow and I feel really inspired, encouraged and motivated. Even though I go wow, I do not start rewriting my own destiny by trying to be what I am not.
Like I wrote above in the first line of this blog, I like writing this motivation to inspire someone out there especially the younger audience who read this blog. I see a lot of them on my tracker.
I personally believe anyone, just anyone can be a success story no matter where you are from, what you’ve been through or what you are going through etc. You can be a success story. It takes you to rescue you from that situation you don’t like. It has a lot to do with looking deep inside to see what you have been blessed with or what you carry inside and then develop it and use it to the fullest to fulfil your God’s given potential.
What is that thing you like doing? What is that gift you think God has deposited inside of you? What is that thing you have always wanted to do? Take a moment to think about it. Begin to use that gift today so you can fulfil the God’s given potential you have.
Are you broke or unemployed or are you distracted by what others have? Don’t be carried away or distracted, focus on you and what you want to do, how you can do it / them and begin to do it/them and once you start, don’t stop because it is when you continue on that journey that you can truly get to where you want to be. There is no rush, a simple step daily will take you there
With every single step you take to achieve that goal, you’ve made success and for every step you continue to take, you are getting even closer to being successful at it. So put your mind to that thing and do it. Anything at all; getting back to education, using that gift God gave you, trying to loose weight, anything at all because you can do it. Now go get it!
I want to truly thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope you liked my mix of Palazzo with that sequin jumper and I hope you are inspired to be who you want to be.
WIshing you a very fulfilling and blessed day today.
Much Love, Mojisola
