PRINT ON PRINT | MAXI SKIRT, STRIPES & COLOURS

Hi Everyone, Welcome. Happy New week to you. Hope your weekend was great. I had a fun weekend. I spent time with some amazing women in business on Saturday and the rest of the weekend with the family.
We’ve never had the weather so good here in Ireland at this time of the year. Since the sun is still shinning, I brought back my multicoloured maxi skirt back to the scene. I wanted a colourful, bold and accessories fortified look and I did just what I wanted. I think I might have outdone myself but that is what fashion is all about…expressing yourself without feeling the need to explain to anyone or the need to feel sorry.

For this look, I paired vertical and horizontal stripes together. I also mixed print on print. I tied the look together by looking for a common colour. In this case the colour was blue and I choose blue to help tone done the boldness of the skirt and the brightness of the blazer. I choose nude heels and clutch to finish off the look.

Belt is from H&M. Amazingly the belt and the bracelet compliment each other like they are made by thesame brand. My tip here is when shopping, ensure to know what you have in your closet and buy what compliments the pieces you already own. Read my guide to shopping happy here.
