Today I bring you big trends and colours for SS17, shop display and visual merchandising of the Paris shops. Before that, I hope your week went well. Mine was packed. Can’t complain because busy is good. So how are you and what are your plans for the weekend? Share what you are up to with me in the comments please.
I did a compilation of some images and shops I visited in Paris and thought to share that with you. I am huge fan of capturing things on video so here goes……………………
Big Trends to Try for SS17
One of the biggest trend for this SS17 is monochrome. In the Paris shops, from high end to high street shops, there are a lot of monochrome going one. I have also got a lot of newsletters from some of my favourite high street stores with that info.
One of the best ways to stay on trend is to subscribe to newsletters of your favourite brands. They send you the good stuff 🙂
The second trend big for SS17 is prints / floral with a tropical feel to it. You will notice in a lot of the display photos below that that tropical feel is visible. So print it is for SS17. There are also a lot of linens, cottons, gangham and more prints.
The third big trend for this SS17 is Pastel. You can see that in the LV display below, LongChamp display and the Hugo Boss one too.
Some Images I managed to Capture (SHOPS)
Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton, most people know for accessories especially bags. They have good stuff and their collection for SS17 had some baby blue (Pastel) and a lot of monochrome as well .Their collection of bags was huge and it was the busiest store I visited in Paris. The staff were immaculately dressed walking around the store like LV Angels. 🙂
Really Nice.
MaxMara MonopOLIS
MaxMara was all simple and classic. I haven’t really paid attention to the brand up until now. They are more classic than I thought. Most of their collection are modern classics but clean and fresh. Expensive too 🙂
DIOR
The Dior store was super chic too with immaculate store environment, Customer Advisors and great collection of accessories (shoes and bags)
Chanel
Chanel is a classic brand and in the shops, they had amazing classic things. High quality, sophisticated and so Chanel. Love the display. Do you?
Blumarine
Blumarine is a brand I have never heard of before but they are quiet a popular one. The display sold me in on it and they also had a lot of amazing and chic things. Price range is moderate.
Dolce & Gabbanna
This is the classic D&G collection. They have some polka dots and leopard. The collection in stock is chic and clean and of course expensive 🙂
Can you spot in the mirror? Look well 🙂
LongChamp
I throughly enjoyed visiting LongChamp. It was also one of my favourite store to visit and I bought a mini pouchette from there which I will share with you at some stage when I have a little bit of time. I will probably do some unboxing with details on video : )
Some Images of Architecture (See more on video above)
Sorry I suck at taking photos, I do videos better…see more in the video above. Love all those trees…
Men Fashion
I almost for get the men. “How dare me?” 🙂
I absolutely enjoyed the display of the Hugo Boss Men. It was sleek and I love it. One thing I also saw a lot of were the men bag. The Parisian men were rocking it and it was so cool.
Love the blue suits and sharp cut and details.
Lancel ::: “Man Bag”
And those are some of the images / photos I captured. There’s more but there’s so much I can share with you.
I hope you enjoy it and the trend TIPS and forecast.
I want to thank you so much for stopping by today. Do have an amazing weekend.
Much Love, Mojisola.
