Happy Monday Lovelies !
Any time I go shirt shopping for the boys in my life (my husband and sons), I tend to gravitate towards blue. Not that I do not buy them any other colours but most times, I buy them different shades of blue from pastel to baby blue to turquoise blue. I basically buy them any kind of blue that suit their skin tone.
I however do not buy dark blue because I love colours that attract light to their faces. The darkest shade of blue I have ever bought is cobalt blue because Sammy, my youngest son looks gorgeous in that shade of blue. He is quiet “caramely” in complexion. If you are wondering what shade of blue is cobalt, I wore cobalt blue here.
I was inspired by the colour my boys wear the most (blue) to wear all shades of blue today. I started with the lightest shade of blue (pastel) on my midi skirt and progressed to torquise on my print blouse and then unto the darkest shade of blue on my hand bag. For accent, I introduced a pair of heels with blue and black pattern.
I decided to keep all accessories to minimal for this look as I wanted the focus to be on the clothes/colours. I however beat my face to the fullest. I had on some blush and lip pencil to plump up my lips before applying some lipstick. See here for some of the affordable make up I am currently loving.
Beat my face? I am beginning to sound very current with “beat my face”. Thank God for my younger friends.
Fashion TIP today !
The print on print trend is still very big right now. A subtle way of sporting the trend is by pairing your print shoes with your print blouse like I did in this look. Wearing print on print doesn’t have to be a mix of shoes and blouse only, it could be your bottom and top or anything you fancy at all. See here if you like a mix of pattern and stripes.
Go ahead and have fun with your pairing of print on print. Feel free to tag me your photo on Instagram when you do.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always happy to see you here. Hope your weekend was great.
Have a fantastic day/week but most importantly, God bless you with his abundant blessings and goodness.
Much Love, Mojisola.
I was wearing Asos skirt, similar here // Donna Karen blouse (old), this one here is on sale and budget friendly // Miu Miu heels // Sophie Hulme bag variety here & here // Mac’s Vino Lip liner, here // Rimmel London Electric Plum Lipstick here ( I am loving it, too good for the price).

Gorgeous as always Mojisola! Blue is such a versatile color, practically anybody can find their perfect shade no matter what their skin tone. 🙂
Those boys of mine should drop by at yours so you can give them some Mr James bowtie touch. Wouldn’t that be nice….ha ha. Send them back after you finish glaming them up. Thanks for stopping by Mr James.
