Hi Lovelies! Happy New Week and Happy Easter again to you and your lovely family.
I have to apologise for not taking so much photos for this post as I was quiet unwell while taking them. I only managed to take the photos as I could barely open my eyes. I am not sure you could tell from the photos but my eyes were red, my nose was swollen and my skin was pale and dry. I am better now though. In hind sight, I should have worn my glasses which I had right in my hand. I decided not to because I wore them in my last post here.
Now unto the good stuff!
The 70’s TREND are back in full force this season and the PALAZZO pants is one of them. The pants are easy to wear for spring and summer as they are loose, free and breathable. In most cases, they are made from light weight fabrics like Silk Crepe and Jersey. The one I have on is made from Jersey.
I paired my Palazzo pants with a silk shirt and a blue and red waist coat with gold accents. I finished my look with a my old Gucci blocked heel loafers which are also the 70’s style. I apologise we couldn’t get close shots of the shoes like we normally do.
THE PANTS
I had to adjust the length so they are long enough(my legs are 46inches from my waistline to my feet).
The best way to wear the PALAZZO or FLARED pants is for them to cover your shoes even when you wear heels. The longer the better but ensure they are not sweeping the ground/floor.
THE VEST | WAIST COAT
It is NOT part of a set with the pants/trousers. I wore them together because they match like part of a set and I did that to show you how trying things can help you be as creative as you want to be with your styling. Don’t they just look like a SET together? I matched this look here like part of a set too and shared TIPS on how to mix and match separates.
I always say….. try out your clothes and if they do not work, take them off. Clothes are not TATTOO. If they don’t work, they can always be taken off.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I am always very happy to see you. So tell me, do you like the 70’s trend or they are not for you? Please let me know in the comments below. Have a fantastic week filled with God’s goodness, mercy and love.
My shop is still open for you if you would like some pre-loved items. I have more items to include this week. Happy Shopping.
Much Love, Mojisola.

Such a pretty look. At first glance I did think this was a set. After you brought to our attention it wasn’t, I then noticed the vest is a tiny bit brighter blue than the pant. Regardless, the pieces look great together. Great job styling.
As for the 70’s look, not for me. I’m not a fan of the modern day bell trouser or jeans. I don’t care for the pant that is practically dragging on the ground. It always makes me think, just how dirty is the bottom of that pant getting. Also, I don’t care for how it plays with most ladies proportions. The 70’s pants/jeans had a higher waistline. That can create a pooch on some. The elongated crotch or bottom isn’t flattering. I love a trend but this one I will be staying away from. I do love other 70’s trend though.

You look amazing Mojisola! I love the vest that adds a polished touch to the ensemble (and it really does look like a set!) The best part for me is the slight touch of red which I think really is a beautiful contrast to navy. Ah you look stunning dear have a great day!! 🙂 xo~ Lena
Thank you so much Lena. You are the best.

Beautiful, you look fantastic!!! Hope you are feeling better. I love the 70’s look, especially like the color combination of red, blue and white it looks very classic and it is so true what you said that clothes are not a tattoo, if you don’t like it take it off:) Love that!!! Hope you are having a good Monday!
