Outfit of the Day ::: Trench as a Dress

For my look today, I was wearing a trench coat as a dress just to show the versatility of the trench coat. For styling, I detached the belt that came with the trench from it and used another belt I had at home to cinch in my waist to create balance and show off my figure. To finish the look, I wore a beige / nude heels to blend up the colour story of the look. And viola, that is my look of the day!

By the way, the woman’s waist is very important in how an outfit looks on her. If you can, cinch in your waist to show off your figure, it gives your look a flattering finish.

Why You Need a Trench Coat For Spring / Summer

1, Trench coats unlike the Winter coats are light weight. They are not as heavy as the Winter coats.

2, Versatility: They can be dressed up or down. They can be worn as a dress like I did in this post and they can be worn over different other outfits. Will share other ways with you real soon…….

3, They are perfect for when the weather is not warm enough but too warm for winter coat

4, If you live in a country like I do where Spring and Summer season is like mini Winter season, you need a trench coat.

When choosing your trench coat, choose one that fits well and versatile. In my humble opinion, I suggest you go for a classic colour like tan / beige because they go with everything. Please go for anyone colour you fancy like yellow which is bright and bold for Summer or Pink which is a perfect burst of colour many people can pull off.
