I recently went to Nigeria and while heading off, I did some shopping for wearable, breathable, comfortable and stylish pieces. When you think of holidays in a tropical place, pieces you can wear, these are the pieces I would be sharing in this post. Nigeria is very hot, at all times and the pieces I picked up were pieces suitable for that part of the world. So, if you are heading away on your Summer holidays or planning to go away real soon to somewhere hot, this style video would help you get your holiday groove on. Let’s check out my tropical lookbook featuring affordable pieces I got from some of my favourite high street stores.
Look 1 was a 2 piece wrap blouse with peep hole at the back and maxi skirt I got from H&M. When I saw the pieces, I knew instantly I had to get them. They are beautiful on and the colours on the print are so Summer perfect and flattering on my skintone. Skirt was 29.99 and blouse was 19.99.
Look 2 was a 2 piece halter neck blouse and high-low wrap skirt. This was the cheapest of them all with the blouse at 12.99 and the Skirt at 19.99. I wore this 2 pieces the most when I was away. It was perfect for day time out and about and also perfect for evening with high heels.
Look 3 was a wrap dress from And Other Stories which also happens to be a sister company to H&M. I love this dress, easy to throw on and can be worn as a dress and also as a robe or throw on bikini. It is a Summer holiday perfect. I bagged this piece on sale at 29.99.
Without further ado, I present to you my tropical lookbook featuring the pieces I love. Do check it out below. The video is only two and a half minutes long…..
