Happy Wednesday My Lovelies? Hope your week is going great. I am doing great despite the sudden change in the weather. Thankful for everything.

Also I have to say thank you all so much for your kind comments on my last post here, even though I didn’t mention it, it was from a little adventure I took.

When I left home, I knew it was cold and that was why I threw on a pair of panty holes. The thing I didn’t realise was that it was so windy and the wind was icy, it was very cold. The weather reminds me of the Ireland I know and not the one that allowed my wear sandals here.

The wind had a good time blowing my hair up and down. Eventually, my hair settled on my face. I was determined that what ever happens, we would take this photos. And before I knew it, it started raining. Crazy right?

Everything they say happen for a reason! When the rain wouldn’t stop, we had to reach for umbrellas. Claire (my talented photographer and friend) had to protect the camera from the rain and I obviously didn’t want to get wet as it was cold enough as it was. She went into the car,  brought out the umbrellas and boom, the colour  of my umbrella was just like the sky shielding me. Isn’t it gorgeous?

As soon as I saw how lovely and complementary the colour  of the umbrella was with my coat, I turned my swagger on! I cared less if it was raining or not, I “smized”, laughed and brought back my experience from modeling days…ha ha.

Even though the umbrella wasn’t planned for this post, it added a lovely complementary touch to my look today. Did you know that orange and blue are complementary colours? If you didn’t know before now, look at how that umbrella “jelled” well with the orange coat. Colours opposite each other on the colour wheel are complementary colours

Talking about the coat, I wouldn’t deny that this look was inspired by the TV series orange is the new black.

An all black look can be so chic like I did here so my intention was to wear an all black look and throw on a pop of colour with a bright/vibrant/bold orange coat/jacket. A good coat/jacket/outerwear makes a fashion statement. 

However, I cheated by applying another pop of colour on my lips which was my trusted currant lipliner by Mac. I filled my whole lips with it and when I finished, I thought it was too dark so I applied my Lancome Lipstick in colour 138. I love the outcome. What do you think?

PS, someone call 911, In my last two post here and here, I have worn the same denim and tote. Just loving both of them at the “MO”.  And also when you find the perfect denim, all you want to do is to wear them over and over again. Well, that’s me. So tell me, are you one of the ones who stick to one denim if you love / like them.

  15. Uhm hello? Earth to Shoshana? How the heck do I miss your post yesterday? Whatever the case, LOOOOOVE. That coat is shocking & stunning all at once. So brilliant of you to use the dark slate wall as your backdrop. The coat without a doubt is a show stopper. You look gorgeous woman.

    Pssst, thank you for standing with your heels together. Like a refined lady. I find that pigeon toe stance horrible. I’m not sure why girls do that. I work with a girl who was born pigeon toed. At the age of 6yrs old her parents had her legs reset (yes broken) to correct the issue.
