SPRING WHITES ::: CROP DENIM & LONG LINE VEST

Previously, we did a Winter white look book here. Now to officially usher in Spring, I present to you this Monochromatic look featuring a mix of white and cream.  If I do say so myself, this look reminds me of Victoria Beckham.

For my look today, I wanted a look that is clean, crisp, classy and effortlessly chic and here it is.  I paired my crop denim with a 3/4 sleeve polo blouse and to tie the look together while keeping warm in the Spring chill, I throw on my long line sleeveless vest. To finish my look, I wore a nude pair of my favourite pumps and an oversized sunshades tie my look together.

Remember when I wrote the blog on 7 must haves for Spring, I mentioned I was going to do a look book featuring the long line sleeveless vest? Here it is.

Fashion TIP today ::: Different Shades of Whites

The last time I shared full details of what white means as a colour as seen here, I mentioned that there are different shades of white.  As you can see in my look today, I mixed different shades of white from almost cream (ecru) to nude on my shoes. I considered all of them whites because they are all delicate colours.

White can be a hard colour to wear because……

1, they are very delicate in nature and can get stained easily.

2, they can make you look washed out if you have pale skin.

For you to be able to wear white without having to worry about how pale your skin may look,  try soft whites like ivory and cream. Anyone can wear those shades of white without having to worry about the skin looking pale.

And to prevent your whites from getting stained,  I always recommend to finish wearing your make up first,  wash your hands then you can go ahead to wear your whites. On the other hand, go for make up that are not transferable.

Motivation For Monday ::: Keep Going

At some stage in live, we all embark on some kind of journey. For example, starting a blog or a business. Think about any example that may be relevant to you.

The one thing I personally believe is that we can be anything we want to be if we are patient, if we are persistent, if we persevere, if we keep trying and if we don’t stop.

To be able to achieve success in anything, we must be willing to keep trying even when we fall or when we are not getting the results we think we ought to have been getting or the attention we thing we ought to have been getting.

The other thing to know is that there is time for everything. You may have started your career at the same time as your best friend and you can see they are doing better than you. Do not be discouraged. Keep doing your job or your own thing diligently and you will be surprised at the result you will eventually get only if you don’t stop.

Keep going, the sky will eventually be your limit.
