BEAUTIFUL | SEASIDE AT SUN SET

Hi Lovelies, happy new month to you and welcome to the second half of the year.

Saloni means beautiful in Sanskrit was what the tag of the dress read.

As soon as I saw how beautiful this dress looked, I knew it was the perfect dress for my niece-in-law’s sea side wedding on the Kefalonia Islands.

Jennifer looked exceptionally beautiful in her lace wedding dress as her father ; my brother-in-law walked her down the isle.

I was honoured when she trusted me to do her styling/make up for her big day. She said Aunty Moji, I want red lips with my lace dress, I simply said okay.

On the morning of the wedding, I gently said to her as we were starting the bridal make over that I wanted her to wear a subtle look, she said, Okay, Aunty Moji. I did her make up ; a flawless natural looking dewy make up with a bronze finish. I styled her weave into a centre parting to give her a youthful look that compliments her flawless makeup. She looked beautiful and the groom approved too.  I will share some photos soon, stay tuned.

A massive congratulations to you Jenn and Nikos. I love you both, we all love you. We pray your marriage last forever, amen.

For my own styling, I paired this gorgeous number from an Indian designer called Saloni with red drop earrings with pearl details, cuff bracelets on my left wrist and ruby red lipstick. I wore my horse bit Sandals from Gucci and a simple clutch from Dune (both not photographed).

The dress moved with every step I took and the seaside wind caressed it gently. I love how simply glamourous it is. Do you like it as much a I do?

The day was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, food and dancing with my immediate and extended family from all around the world. The memory will last forever in our hearts. My sons had the best time of their lives and they both looked gorgeous in their suits.

Fashion TIP today 

This look is perfect for a seaside wedding or any summer wedding at that. Pair this gorgeous dress with a cropped leather jacket and you are good for the cold Irish weather. You can also pair this number with an oversized hat, sunglasses for a Holly wood glam.

My other tip is this : just like I took charge suggesting what to do with Jenn’s make up, it is always best to “know your stuff”.  When you know your stuff,  you will be able to take charge of your business/work and deliver like you mean business or like some one who knows her stuff. You shine better that way and the sky is your limit. Keep learning, be teachable !

I am thankful for the faithfulness of God in the first half of the year and looking forward to even greater things as the year progresses.
