FLORA JUMP SUIT

Hi lovelies, hope you are all doing well.

FLORA JUMPSUIT

If Mohammed can’t go to the mountain, the mountain can as well go to Mohammed is the case with my look today. Since I can’t go to the beach to enjoy coconut and palm tree, I can as well wear a palm tree print and pretend I was on the beach.

Seriously though, this is the first time I am featuring floral dress on the blog this summer. I wore flora blouses here and here.

This jumpsuit is so fun and “flowy”, it moves with every step I take. In my humble opinion, it is the perfect way to wear the 70s trend which was well known for pieces like Palazzo, Culottes and all things baggy.  Do you agree with me? See here for another 70s inspired look.

Talking about the beach, this look will be perfect for a beach wedding, throw on some oversized hat and sunglasses and you are good to go. Swap this minimal heels for flip flop and this look will do for a chilled or relaxed weekend, barbecue party or garden party.

MINIMAL SANDALS

For styling, since the jumpsuit is a statement on its own, I threw on some minimal sandals to complete my look. The tasseled belt was from a different blouse of mine, I tried it on with the jumpsuit and it worked, voila !

And for photos, we wanted to make the pictures as fun as the jump suit. I hope you enjoy as much as we enjoyed taking the photos.

  7. Such a fab colour and print, and you can go in so many directions with it accessorize wise- I would pair it with some major ‘look at me’ chunky gold jewellery…but it also looks lovely with minimalist accessories. Gotta love the 50s palazzo flair!
