BACK TO BLACK | 3 PIECE SUIT

Wearing an all black look is not what I shy away from. Black is fab and flattering no matter how you wear it. For a girl who used to wear black a lot a while back, the possibilities of an all black look/ensemble is endless to me.

I have tried all black to work with nude heels here and I also wore it to launch date it here.

My look today was inspired by Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty woman. Julia in that movie went from wearing “glad rags” to wearing trouser suits and skirt suit with gorgeous accessories from hats, to sunglasses because of her new man.
 
For this look, I paired a few of some of my favourite things together to create a 3 piece suit. The pants are my work pants that I adjusted to fit in length. The waist coat was the one I wore casually here and the blazer is the one I throw on most of my looks for polish and sophistication as seen here. I paired all 3 together to create a new look with some of my old pieces.

Because I have an all black look on, I added some gold accent. My clutch, belt and heels all have the gold accent which was enough to break down the all black.

Fashion TIP today !

This all black look is monochromatic. This simply means wearing one single colour from head to toe. If you are petite or want to create the illusion of longer/taller frame, this kind of look will do the magic for you. Swap the sandals for pointy toe heels to get the full illusion of being tall.

The belt I added to this look cinched in my waist and the blazer added on top of the waist coat accentuated my waist and made me look slimmer. To look slimmer instantly, wear belts.
