This is it: we live in a world where the strong take advantage of the weak. The rich taking advantage of the poor. The smart taking advantage of the slow or gentle. A world where a lot of haters bully us to be quiet and conform to their game. Having said all those, this world is beautiful with a lot of great minds, people, talents, friends, lovers and more. Today, I want to encourage you on HOW to deal with the enemy within and also how to beat haters at their game.
We have two children and issues of being bullied in school have come up. And because we can not always be with our children, we pray for them and we speak with them. We build their confidence by the words we say to them and teach them what to say to bullies in school…. Here are some of the BEST ways to deal with the enemy within and also how to beat haters at their game.
Self Love
Research has proven that we project how and what we to feel to others. If there is a battle within, we project this to others. If we do not like ourselves, we look at every other person and think they do not like us and we assume that nobody likes us. The best GIFT anyone can give to themselves is Self Love.
Love yourself enough that even when haters say anything to you, you shake it off or dust it aside like they do not exist.
If there is any trouble within like, “I am not good enough” or “my neighbour is better than me” or dwelling in the mistakes of the past and on and on, deal with it or them. It is best to deal with the voice within or the enemy within first and then what bullies think or say would not matter.
If there are issues of doubt, self belief, not good enough etc, deal with them by assuring and reassuring yourself that you are just good enough, speak to someone (your parents, counsellors, mentors, pastors etc). Speak to someone, it makes a lot of difference.
Whatever you do, kill the enemy within that makes you not love yourself enough. If you have made mistakes, FORGIVE yourself and let go. Stop dwelling in the past. Pray about it too, prayer works. Most importantly, do what ever it takes to love yourself enough. This brings me to my next point…….
Affirmations
You know you are likely to believe what you hear all the time. Let’s take for example a new song that plays on the radio when you drive to work every morning. The first time the song plays, you may not know it BUT give it a week, in your subconscious, you begin to sing along, especially if the beat or rhythm is a genre of music you love….
Affirmations are positive confessions. They are like psyching yourself. They are like assuring or reassuring yourself of something. I gave the example of music earlier, the more you hear it, the more you know it…it is the same thing with affirmations. The more you say good things to yourself, the more you believe yourself. It would eventually be like music playing in your head.
For example, if you continue to say to yourself everyday that, I am confident, I am beautiful, I am courageous, I am fulfilling my purpose or destiny, I am favoured, I am blessed, I am the apple of God’s eyes etc. The very first time you say them, you may not necessarily be sure BUT when you continue saying them, you would eventually begin to sing along like music.
Take for example, you hear some children say the reason WHY they are who they are is because of what they were told as a child, I have seen kids who turned out well because of what they were told and I have seen otherwise too because of what they were told. This has been proven psychologically. It is also scriptural – what you think or say, you become. No matter how much my children annoy me, I never say any bad things to them – hard but doable.
Your tongue is the greatest gift you have. Use it to say good things to your self and create the life you want with the words of your mouth. I shared more on this in my new e-book coming March 2018. So, say good things to yourself. Not only does it make you love yourself more, it makes you sing the sing of positivity along.
Choose Your Company Wisely
You may also notice that a lot of times, the people who antagonise us are not the people we don’t know, they are the people we know. So, choose the people you mingle with carefully. Choose the people you spend time with carefully. Love yourself enough and spend time with people who see the best in you, the ones who think you are good enough and can do great things. Never spend time with the people who bring you down or talk you down. No matter how good your are or how much good you do or achieve, they never see good in you. Stay away from them. It is not worth it.
The people you spend time with would rub off on you, good or bad, they will. So, choose your company wisely. I made the video below a while ago, explaining choosing your company wisely better……
Continue on your Journey to Purpose
You may also have seen before that success has a lot of relatives (nieces, nephews, cousins etc). When we make good success in life, a lot people automatically become our friends, family etc BUT when we are struggling, starting out or even can’t find our way, a lot of people, even the ones we know may not support us.
I want to encourage you that come what may, continue to go after your dreams, continue to work on the things that matter to you, continue to walk in your truth, continue to work in your purpose, continue to dream big and work harder and continue to pray for God’s increase, you will be surprised at how far your would eventually go. Do your best always to be the best you can be.

I want thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. I do hope you were inspired to be yourself and to do your best to be who you want to be. No matter what happens, don’t let nay sayers and haters bully you to settle for less. Be as bold as a Lion and go for gold.
Wishing you an amazing day today. Do take care and God bless
Much Love, Mojisola
