I love reading stories of successful people. I love to read about what they did differently and WHY and HOW they become successful in their field. If I can say so, I miss Obama in office and because I missed him so much, I have being reading about him. I read about how his mother would wake him up at about 5am to do his homework; I read about his move to Chicago and how he shunned earning high in large corporations to serve the public………..
I have also read about many other people like Christiano Ronaldo, the great footballer. I read about him because I have a junior who plays football so I bought the book for him and one for “us”(home use). Aside Obama and Christiano Ronaldo, I have read about so many other people and the one thing I learnt about all of them is simple; they “spread their wings and flied” until they soared.
The two people I mentioned in this post reached the top of their career because they took off. We all know of Obama as the first African American President today but a lot of us do not know about his childhood, his drug use before teenage years and how he struggled to reconcile himself with his father. Those are some of the bits we didn’t know BUT the bits we know is that he became President.
I see a lot of meme flying round the internet of successful people and what they went through before they became successful. The one thing a lot of people who create those memes don’t include in them is that those people spread their wings, took off until they soared. Most of them faced challenges, they stumbled, they went through pain BUT they soared still.
Today, I encourage you to spread those wings and fly. You may stumble or fall a couple of times or even more, you may fail, you may go through hardship and pain BUT fly first. Until you do, you may never soar. What ever you do, just fly, you will be surprised at what you will do. Don’t forget, fly!
Fly, in that job change. Fly, going back to college. Fly, starting that business. Fly, writing the rough sketch of that book. Fly, in turning your gifts into a real business. Fly, in whatever it is that God has put in your mind and you will soar eventually. Remember, a lot of times or all the time, fulfilling purpose or soaring comes with pain, paying the price and making sacrifices BUT until you fly, you will never soar.
I want to thank you so much for reading today. I am always glad to see you stop by. Thank you for reading and for letting me be your Cheerleader.
Don’t forget to fly, you will soar eventually.
Much Love, Mojisola.

Inspirational indeed! I will remember this for the rest of the week. I noticed on Friday that I have had my blog for two years now and I did not even know it had been that long. It is time for me to fly and soar with it.
Thanks Moji! You are fantastic cheerleader. Always in my corner!
Thank you for reading Sade. Ah, congratulations on the blog, that is amazing news. Well done!
Yes, it is time to soar.
Cheers.
Loving the inspiration Moji, it’s the perfect way to start the week off! I think we all miss Obama in office. I was unaware of his drug use before his teenage years. He’s such a great example of what can be achieved if you invest in yourself and allow yourself to fly. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hope you’re having a great start to the week.
