MY GOD-GIVEN GIFTS VS MY PHYSICAL GIFTS

This time of the year is all about sharing love and giving gifts. While giving gifts is good, giving gifts people would value and use is the utmost to me when I give gifts. So in simple terms, before I give any gifts, I put some thoughts into it and ensure the receiver actually would like the gift. Would like the gift? Well, we can’t decide what people like but we can at least try to give what is good.

So what is a gift?

What is a GIFT? 

A gift is something that is given to someone for free. It is something you give to someone out of love. Gift is something that can benefit someone.

Gifts: you don’t buy them or pay for them. I know someone would say, what if I buy myself a gift? If you buy something for yourself, although you can call it a gift but truly, it is a TREAT to yourself and not a gift. You see the difference?

Gifts can be physical and they can also be supernatural. For example, a physical gift can be a bottle of Chanel No 5 perfume given to me by my best friend. The thing about physical gifts or material gifts is that they can finish. However, supernatural gifts can never finish……whether we use our supernatural gifts or not, “they can never finish”. Although they can never finish, they may die if we don’t discover and nurture them to grow. Supernatural gifts are like babies, they have to be nurtured!

For example, this bottle of Chanel perfume can finish with continous use…..

and once it is finished, I have to buy another one. Supernatural gifts are not like that, you don’t have to buy another one because you were born with them and so they can never finish like I said above. I know what you are thinking already, you think you don’t have one right? Yes you do have a gift. We all have at least one, so many people have more than one gifts…….we just may not know we do……..

For our supernatural gifts which can also be called God-given gifts, we may not know we have them. Why? It is because a lot of times we don’t pay attention to them. However these gifts are better than any kinds of gifts, be it a Hermes bag or Chanel perfume.

They are the kind of gifts that can change our lives and help us fulfill purpose……………and this is what my book is all about; gifts discovery and fulfilling purpose. The book is all about helping people to discover their gifts, embracing them, owning them, nurturing them, developing them, monetizing them and taking them from latent potential to fulfilled purpose………

I hope you have been inspired by the video but most importantly, I hope you have been inspired to start using what you have. I encourage you not to let your gifts go to waste, it will be a shame for it to be a waste. Like I said above, although your gifts can’t finish, they may die if you don’t discover them and start using them.
